A fully chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute, Ben has experience in both the residential and commercial sectors. He provides planning advice to landowners, developers, and land promoters on medium- and large-scale residential and employment sites. He advises on land promotion, including preparing representations to local and neighbourhood plans, as well as preparing matters statements and appearing at examinations in public. He also prepares, submits, and manages planning applications and appeals, excelling in co-ordinating consultant teams.
Ben’s experience extends to a variety of site typologies including brownfield, greenfield, and Green Belt land. Recently, he secured planning permission for residential developments around the West Midlands including sites in Coventry, Tamworth, and Hinckley and Bosworth. Similarly, he secured planning permission for the redevelopment of a brownfield site for two data centres and a logistics unit on a brownfield site in the Green Belt, both in Slough Borough.
When he isn’t obtaining planning permissions, Ben has a keen interest in following sport, particularly Formula 1, cricket, and football. An avid carp angler, you can often find him beside one of many local lakes in the West Midlands.
