A chartered geologist, Emma has extensive experience in completing geo-environmental assessments for a range of different land uses. This includes former landfills and brownfield sites across the south east of England, as well as designing, supervising, and managing ground investigation works. She also has experience in supervising earthworks and preparing remediation strategy documentation.
Emma’s skillset includes ground investigation design, project management and sub-contractor management. She’s also skilled in generic and detailed quantitative risk assessment reports for human health and controlled waters. Her experience includes several projects investigating per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) contamination in both soils and groundwater. For one project, this included data collection to assist design of an in-situ groundwater remediation solution, and monitoring to determine the efficacy of the pilot permeable barrier.
Outside of work she enjoys yoga, hiking, and growing tomatoes!
