Passionate about creating unique spaces, Iain unites both new and established communities to foster vibrant and inclusive environments. Through dedication and hard work, he strives to build strong connections and promote a sense of belonging within these communities.
In his position, Iain provides town planning advice for both large scale and complex development projects. This includes urban, greenfield, and multiphase regeneration projects such as Barking Riverside. He also acts as a witness at Town and Country Planning Association (TCPA) planning inquiries and advises on planning issues and evidence in respect of compulsory purchase orders (CPO) and landlord and tenant matters. Additionally, Iain provides planning advice in respect of land acquisition speaks regularly at conferences and events and is an active member of the British Property Federation (BPF) planning committee—he’s also a judge for the annual Housebuilder Media Awards.
Outside of work, Iain enjoys hitting the road on his bicycle and indulging in his love of road cycling.
