Stantec announces new leader for North America Water business
A 30-year company veteran, Matt Travers will drive team¡¯s vision for collaboration and growth

Today Â鶹´«Ã½ is unveiling a change in leadership as Matt Travers moves into the role of executive vice president of Water for Â鶹´«Ã½¡¯s North America operations. Travers takes on this role as Ryan Roberts, who has led the Water business for three years, takes on a global position as chief practice officer.
The Water business is a key driver for Â鶹´«Ã½, most recently achieving double-digit organic growth in Â鶹´«Ã½¡¯s latest earnings report for the fourth quarter. Currently, Water makes up 21% of Â鶹´«Ã½¡¯s revenue and has over 5,800 professionals working in 14 countries.

A focus on project delivery, collaboration
Travers brings over 30 years of industry experience, first joining Â鶹´«Ã½ in 1994 and holding multiple roles in project delivery and operations. For the past three years Travers served as operations leader for the Water business. His background includes a focus on wet weather, Combined Sewer Overflows control, and wastewater projects.

A graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, Travers is based in Burlington, Mass.
